Fever Guidelines
Under 3 months: any temperature over 100.4 F requires an immediate call. 3 to 6 months: fever over 101 F lasting more than a day. Over 6 months: fever over 102 F not responding to medication or lasting more than 3 days.
Signs of Dehydration
Fewer than 4 wet diapers in 24 hours. Dry mouth. No tears. Sunken soft spot. Unusual sleepiness. Call if you see any of these.
